LeDouglas G. Johnson is an Associate at Shamoun & Norman, LLP. Mr. Johnson practices primarily commercial litigation.
Mr. Johnson earned his B.A. in Economics from Duke University, where he attended as a Reggie Howard Memorial Scholarship recipient. Mr. Johnson earned his J.D. in 1999 from Southern Methodist University School of Law where he attended on an academic scholarship. During law school, Mr. Johnson earned distinction as an exceptional oral advocate competing and winning several national and regional advocacy competitions and was selected as a National Member of the Order of Barristers.
Prior to joining S&N, Mr. Johnson practiced in the areas of Intellectual Property Litigation, Toxic Tort Defense, Probate and Estate Planning, and Public Interest Law.
Mr. Johnson is a dedicated community advocate, volunteer, and leader. Mr. Johnson currently serves as the District 4 City Planning Commissioner for the City of Dallas. He is an active volunteer with several community organizations and was recently recognized for his work with the C.A.W. Clark Legal Clinic with the Volunteer of the Year Award for Outstanding Support in 2016 and the Social Justice Award in 2017.
Mr. Johnson was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November of 1999 and is also admitted to practice before the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Federal District Courts for the State of Texas. Mr. Johnson is also a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
