Lucas A. Diaz is an Associate at Shamoun & Norman, LLP. Mr. Diaz practices primarily commercial litigation.
Mr. Diaz is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is a Certified Mediator.
Mr. Diaz earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston. While attending law school, Mr. Diaz was a Presidential Fellow, a member of Phi Delta Phi, and was a Member of South Texas’ nationally recognized Moot Court program. Mr. Diaz was a semi-finalist in the NLLSA National Moot Court Competition. Mr. Diaz received the Dean’s Outstanding Student Advocacy Award in 2020.
Mr. Diaz graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a Minor in Philosophy. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Diaz obtained a Judicial Internship in the 417th District Court, with The Honorable Cynthia M. Wheless.
Prior to joining S&N, Mr. Diaz practiced in the areas of Real Estate, Commercial Litigation, and General Corporate Law.
