
Nick Burns is an Associate at Shamoun & Norman, LLP. Mr. Burns practices primarily commercial litigation. Mr. Burns is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of New York.
Mr. Burns earned his Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude and was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient. During law school, Mr. Burns was an oralist and brief writer for the Moot Court Honor Society and served as Articles Editor for the American University International Law Review. Additionally, Mr. Burns was a research assistant for a faculty member, where he researched human rights issues in international supply chain contracts. Mr. Burns also received the highest grade designation in an Alternative Dispute Resolution course.
Prior to joining Shamoun & Norman, LLP, Mr. Burns began his career at a large non-profit law firm in New York City.
