Steve Tittle is an Associate at Shamoun & Norman, LLP. Mr. Tittle practices primarily commercial litigation.
Mr. Tittle received his B.B.A. in Finance and B.A. in Political Science from Southern Methodist University in 1996, where he was as member of the Honor Council and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Mr. Tittle received his J.D. in 2000 from Pepperdine University School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and State Bar of California.
Prior to joining S&N, Mr. Tittle served as an elected State District Judge for Texas’ 196th Judicial District Court from 2011-2014. As a district judge, Mr. Tittle presided over approximately two thousand new cases each year and presided over a record number of jury trials in the county during those years. As a district judge of a general jurisdiction district court, he heard civil, criminal, and family law cases.
Prior to serving as a Texas State District Judge, Mr. Tittle served as a felony prosecutor for ten years, with his last two years serving as First Assistant District Attorney. Mr. Tittle has tried over fifty jury trials, including capital murder death penalty cases. Mr. Tittle has written appellate briefs to and argued before multiple appellate courts in Texas, including Texas’ highest criminal appellate court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals in Austin.
Mr. Tittle serves as an advisory board member on the Paralegal Advisory Board at Texas A&M University Commerce, where he recently taught Texas Civil Procedure.
