Trevor E. D. Young
Trevor joined Shamoun & Norman, LLP as an associate attorney in 2014. Trevor was admitted to the State Bar of Texas after completing an LL.M. in International Energy and Arbitration from the University of Texas School of Law in 2012. Previously, he earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law where he received certificate training in International Trade and Finance and Business and Commercial Law. Trevor also earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Kansas while attending law school. He first attended Southern Methodist University before embarking on a career in law. Trevor arrived at Shamoun & Norman, LLP with a foundation of legal experience in antitrust law, state administrative law, and general civil litigation, and now focuses his practice on commercial law and arbitration. In addition to his responsibilities for the firm, Trevor teaches Legal Research and Writing at the University of Texas School of Law, and frequently volunteers his time to judge mock trial and moot court competitions across the State of Texas.
